Hi all!
Hi everyone! My name is Incia Haider and I will be serving as one of the vice-chairs in the Arab League committee for BMUN's 70th conference!
I am currently a fourth year undergraduate student at Berkeley majoring in both Global Studies and Political Economy. Within the Global Studies major, my focus is on peace and conflict in the Middle East/North Africa region, and my Political Economy concentration is on global development and inequality. Aside from participating in BMUN, I am a Peer Advisor for the Political Economy major and am also writing my senior thesis this year on sectarianism in Pakistan.
In my free time, I love reading, exercising, and watching a good Pakistani drama. I hope all of you have a beneficial time researching and learning more about the situation in Gaza and economic diversification of oil-exporting countries in the MENA region. These topics are incredibly important and I believe all of you will do amazing in explaining your stances and debating with each other about solutions to such pressing issues. Good luck and can't wait for our committee! :)
